  • Tariff Talk

    Tuesday, June 10th | 6-8pm | Giggle Water

Join the DC Makers’ Guild for "Tariff Talk,” an open, honest evening of conversation and connection. As we face the uncertainty of impending tariffs in an already inflated economy, this is a space for our local artisan maker community to come together to strategize and support one another. Our board member, Katie Stack of Stitch & Rivet, will share her reflections & strategies and lead us through the evening.

We’ll break the evening into two parts:

    - Listening & Sharing – A chance for makers to speak openly about their concerns, fears, and challenges. What’s weighing on you? What’s at stake?

    - Response & Resilience – After hearing from one another, we’ll explore what we’re doing—individually and collectively—to navigate the times ahead. What’s working? Where can we support each other?

This isn’t a panel or a lecture—it’s a community conversation. Whether you're feeling fired up or completely overwhelmed - let’s talk about it.

This program is free to attend and open to members & non-members of the DC Makers’ Guild.
